He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Showalter and Joan E. Showalter (Chittenden); and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his sister Debra Taylor of Goshen; and his sibling's children, Jennifer Gill (Larry) and Steven Taylor. He is also survived by three great nieces, three great nephews, three great-great nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home (1003 S Main St, Middlebury, IN 46540). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
