He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wright and Ione Wright (Garwood); his son John Eric Wright; and his siblings, Walter Wright and Mary Slack.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Nye and Virginia Nichols (Bob); his grandchildren, Tyrell Nye, Kyra Craig, Suzanne Kurtz, Aliese Marley and Johnny Wright; and his siblings, Owen Wright, Paul Wright, Sharon Morris, Janet Smith and Ivan Wright. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
