It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Chambers (Elkhart, Indiana), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Leslie and Dorothy Leslie; her stepfather Adrian Chalmers; her husband William Chambers Sr.; her son William "Billy" Chambers Jr.; and her siblings, Joan Birchell (Kretchmer) and Daryl Chalmers.
She is survived by: her son Alvin Chambers (Sandy); her siblings, Sandra Prater, Mary Lou Troy, Arthur Kretchmer, Jack Kretchmer (Kate) and Robert Kretchmer (Dorothy); and her granddaughters, Natasha, Naomi, Krystal and Cheyenne. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
