She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Opelt and Orville Opelt; her husband Gary Odell Freeman; her son Gary Odell Jr.; and her sisters, Lois and Alicia.
She is survived by: her daughter Annette Joyce (Ray); her daughter-in-law Kay (Russ); her grandchildren, Neil (Rebecca) and Franchesca (Justin); her sister Debbie (Jim); and her great grandchildren, Emilie, Vanessa, Judah, Joss and Lyra.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church (411 W Vistula St, Bristol, IN 46507). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Women's Care Center of Elkhart County or the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
