She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles William Marvel; her children, Tamara Lynn Smith (Aaron) of Elkhart, Melissa Ann Carlisle (Lance) of Elkhart, Candace Helen Sheley of Goshen, Jean Abraham Milfort (Mirlym) of Granger and Meredith Barrett (Jeff) of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Austin Smith (Katie), Micah Smith (Elizabeth), Aubrey Marquez (Jairo), Makenzie Rivera (Brandon), Lauren Aguilera (Fredy Jr.), Lucas Carlisle, Ella Carlisle, Alexa Wuethrich, Tayler Enyeart, Kylee Sheley, Rylee Sheley, Irlyn Michelle Milfort, Jaden Milfort, Olivia Barrett, Jude Barrett and Liam Barrett; her mother Shirley Truex; her siblings, Pamela Magary (Dennis) of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Nick Miller (Sheryl) of White Pigeon, Michigan and Lori True (Scott) of Westchester, Ohio.; and her father Raymond Nick Miller. She was also cherished by children, welcoming family members and newly married grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Sugar Grove at http://www.sugargrovechurch.com. where the church will allocate funds towards the kids ministry where Karen served as a volunteer.
