He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Dougherty and Ethel Dougherty; his wife Jackie Dougherty; and his grandson Mitchell Bryant Abrams. He is survived by: his children, Jan Wenzel (Ron) of Kirkland, WA, Kurt Dougherty (Jill) of Wolcottville, IN and Dru Dougherty (Rick Abrams) of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Kathryn Dougherty Busby of Clearwater, FL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
