He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Kiefer and Betty Kiefer (Haines); and his brother Robert Kiefer Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Elaine, Bobby Kiefer and Kevin; and his siblings, Deborah Martin (Mike), Pamela Kendell (Jeff), Stephen, Theresa and James Kiefer (Cathy).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Kevin's name to the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery restoration fund in care of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 1108 S. Main St. Elkhart, IN 46516.
