He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella Maude Biggs (Eastman) and John Emmit Biggs; his former wife Jacqueline Sue Biggs; his wife Emma June Biggs (Richardson); and his stepson Phillip E. Schlabach, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Verne Biggs of Cassopolis, MI, April Biggs of South Bend, IN and Charles E. Biggs; his stepsons, James Richardson of New Paris, IN and John Clevenger of Elkhart, IN; and his siblings, Vern E. Biggs of Tucson, AZ and Juanita Tucker of Elkhart, IN.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
