With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Williams Sr. of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Williams and Magnolia Williams (Crawford); his wife Lula Mae Williams (Gross); his sons, Leon and Glenn E. Williams; his siblings, Bob Williams, Sylvester Williams, Charles Williams, Amy Williams, Gloria O'Neal, Vinnie Lou Allen and Lorene Williams; and his grandson Deon Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Velma Jackson (Roy) and Yvette Williams; his siblings, J. D. Williams (Ruth), Wallace Williams (Denise), Cora Miller (Glenn), Velma Ann Williams, Irene Jackson (Sidney), Johnnie Mae Johnson and Ernice Sanford (Francis); his daughter-in-law Sheila Williams; his grandchildren, Tricia Jackson-Barnes, Tamiah Harris (Carlos), Andrea Jackson, Dominique Pledger, Leana Williams, Tyler Williams (Jewel), Brandon Williams (Shatisha), Jada Williams and Kendal Jackson; and his close friends, Lucy Royal and Patt Johnson. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
