She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Messner and Lucile Messner (Shank); and her siblings, James Messner (Judith) and Rae Ann Lane (Jerry). She is survived by: her husband Travis L. Burleson; her sons, Ross Raifsnider (Stacey) of Fishers, IN, Brent Raifsnider (Sue) of Elkhart and Brian Raifsnider (Glenda) of Brentwood, TN; her stepchildren, Jody Burleson, Sherry Burleson-Irsik and Travis D. Burleson (Ann); and her former husband Lawrence E. Raifsnider of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
