She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Searer and Evelyn Jane Searer (Snyder); her sister Sharon Searer; and her son David G. Cottrell. She is survived by: her children, Deb Metzger (Jason Roach) of Roundhead, OH, Diana Cornett (Kenneth) of Cedar Grove, Tennessee and Charles "Andy" Cottrell (Melanie Hein) of South Bend; her stepdaughter Charlene Lanning (Gale) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and her brothers, Darryl Searer (Judy) of Fort Myers, Florida, Larry Searer (Dora) of Elkhart, Glenn Searer (Bonnie) of Elkhart and Craig Searer (Lannette) of Elkhart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great, great grandchildren.
