He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Evans and Anna Evans (Berger); and his wife Phyllis Jean Bates. He is survived by: his brother Edward Evans of Pennsylvania; his nieces, Cindy Nickell (Vaughn) of Elkhart, IN and Betty Perzia of Pennsylvania; his brothers, Robert, Joe, Richard "Dick" and Carl; Bill Evans of Mesa. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
