She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Truex and May Truex (Sheets); her husband Howard Ottman Sr.; her children, Sherry Riley, Ronald Ottman, Howard Ottman Jr. and Ben Ottman; and her siblings, Katherine Sluser, Vivian Goff, Viola Hook, Pauline Ottman, Howard, Harold and Virgil Truex.

She is survived by: her children, Pauline Ottman of Elkhart, Connie Vinsant of Elkhart and Earl Ottman (Nina) of Elkhart; and her brothers, Earl Truex (Pauline), Kenny Truex, Junior Truex and Dave Truex. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
