With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Borgsteadt of Elkhart, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Slagle and Helen Brown (Williams). She is survived by: her husband Jim Borgsteadt; her children, Angela Frazier, Diana Rodgers, Maria Zinner, Todd Farrand and Noel Borgsteadt; her grandchildren, Sharon Staufenbeil (Chris Neice), Todd Farrand II, Katie Bean, Christina Piersza, Amber Frazier, Jason Frazier and Damian Frazier; her great grandchildren, Emmalynn, Addilynn and Joseph; and her siblings, Dan Slagle (Betty), Ron Slagle (Anna), Tom Slagle (Liz) and Sandy Healey.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Northside Baptist Church or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
