He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gruver and Inez Gruver (Bickle); and his brother Hugh Gruver Jr. (II). He is survived by: his wife Brenda E. Gruver; his children, April Blankenbaker (Jack), Scott Gruver (Jules) and Kevin Gruver (Julie L.); his grandchildren, Courtney (Austin) and Brock; his stepgrandchildren, Kylee, Allyson, Jenna, Jimmy and Kristi; his great grandchildren, Adilynn, Colton and Everleigh; his siblings, Ruth Bohs (Gordy) and Ted Gruver (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Carol Gruver. He is also survived by 12 step great grandchildren.
