We are sad to announce that, on May 21, 2022, at the age of 89, Norman J. Salo of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Stambaugh, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Salo; his former spouses, Carolyn J. Salo, Marcia Burns (Haslanger) and Shirley Salo (Ferran); and his siblings, Alvin, Dennis, Dean and Arlene.

He is survived by: his children, Erick Salo (Julie), Sheryl Korovesis (George), Lois D. Salo, Sheila D. Salo (Jim Suver) and Lee Hite (Carol); and his wife Marcia Haslanger. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to AMVETS Post 436 (Beechwood), 213 Beechwood Store Rd. Iron River, MI 49935.
