She was predeceased by: her father Rex Bowers; her husband Merle L. Sims; and her brothers, Eugene N. and Terrance R. Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth M. Sims of Las Vegas, Mary Lou Carman (Jerry) of Elkhart and Kathy Cassel (Rick) of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
