He was predeceased by: his father Bill Bean; his son Edward Lee Bean; and his siblings, Joe Willie Bean, Ralph Bean and Annie Bell Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Bean, Cora Brown (Pastor Jonathon), Ray Bean Jr. (Rhonda), Deborah "Debi" Johnson, Elaine Kiefer and Shawn "Ty" Bean (Michelle); and his nieces, Bobbie Ruth McField and Rhonda Freeman. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
