He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindy Richards; his stepdaughter Stephanie Lloyd; and his siblings, Mary Lou Richards, Rick Richards and Robert Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Richards; his children, Nancy Misener, David Richards (Deanna), Jennifer Martinez, Toni Hummel and Sydney Mais; his grandchildren, Billy Hummel and Riley Lloyd; his brothers, Ron Richards and Roger Richards; and his sister-in-law Elisha Richards. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rex's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, honoring his courageous journey with Parkinson's disease and supporting the search for a cure.
