He was predeceased by: his parents, Orian J. Read and Pauline Read; and his wife Lynda Hummer. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Read of Niles, MI, Michelle, Teri Horberg of Tarpon Springs, FL, Toni Volheim of Elkhart, Kim Volheim (Claudia) of Granger, IN and Kris Volheim (Cathy) of Edwardsburg, MI; and his granddaughters, Jessica Sellers, Faith Li and Kassondra Sawyer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
