He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sweetser and Margaret Sweetser. He is survived by: his former wife Diane Burrows; his wife Becky Jo Reed (DeFreese); his children, Theresa Miller (Jerry) of Goshen, Kathy VanKlaveren (Mike) of Goshen, Richard "Chip" Sweetser (Deb) of Goshen, Todd Sweetser of Elkhart and Jeff Sweetser (Julie) of Goshen; and his stepchildren, Tracey Anisi (Jim) of Franklin and Ryan Reed (JoMarie) of Elkhart. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
