He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Kempen and Janie Kempen; and his brothers, Tim and Rory Kempen. He is survived by: his children, Drem Benjamin, Jennifer Karraker (James) and Jamie Kempen. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
