He is survived by: his significant other Chris Abner; his daughters, Brittney Abner-Hennings (Krista) and Abby Abner; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Shaw, Jalynn Gartner and Cayden Abner; and his stepsons, William Gipson (Amanda) and Glen Cole (Shelby). He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
