He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Heflin and Virginia Heflin (Evans). He is survived by: his spouse Celaine Girten; and his children, Louann Hunt (Darrin Klein), Steven Swoape (Kim), Tim Swoape (Theresa), Sheila Howard (Chad), Scott Heflin (Arlene) and Marc Swoape (Amy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Great-great-grandchildren.
