Roena Windbigler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roena Windbigler of Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Windbigler and Ruth Windbigler (McFarland); her son Steven Girten; and her brothers, Ray Windbigler, Tim Windbigler, Vern Windbigler and Tom Windbigler.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Girten of Elkhart, Charles Girten, Jr. (Donna) of Edwardsburg, MI and Joey Ray Girten (Brenda) of Elkhart. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Elkhart Lions Club, P.O. Box 81, Elkhart, Indiana 46515 as well as St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 West Lexington Avenue, Elkhart, Indiana 46516.
