He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Smeltzer and Mary Ann Smeltzer (Knoll); and his brother Roger Smeltzer. He is survived by: his wife Deb Smeltzer; his children, Andy Smeltzer and Jenna Rangel (Jose); his grandchildren, Aurora, Holden and Silas; his brothers, Terry Smeltzer (Suze) and Tim Smeltzer (Jan); his mother-in-law Dot Price; his nephews, Christian Elder (Garry), Cory Sponseller (Rose), Casey Sponseller (Nikki) and Cody Sponseller (Jade); and his niece Kassie Spencer (Jim).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron's memory may go to New Hope United Methodist Church.
