Childress; her children, Matthew Williams, Jr., Andrew "Andy" Williams, Levester "Lee" Williams, Sylvester "Sly" Williams and Rebecca Williams; and her siblings, Converse, Samuel, Johnny, Sylvester Jackson, Corrine, Jessie Lee Jackson, Rebecca Bowen, June Marie Johnson, Hattie Cooper, Bessie Mae Young and Margie Lee Bryant.

She is survived by: her children, Harold Williams (Pearlie) of Elkhart, George Williams (Joyce) of Elkhart, Ora Lee House of Elkhart, Alice Warren of Elkhart, Earline Childress (Lewis) of Elkhart, Ollie Rae Williams of Elkhart, Annie Ruth House of Crestview, Florida and Catharine Taylor, Jr. (Cecil) of Crestview, Florida; her siblings, Jesse Jackson (Mary) of Elkhart and Savannah Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; and her daughters-in-law, Susie Williams and Carmen White-Williams of Elkhart. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
