She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest C. Pirka and Bertelene Pirka; the father of her children Eugene J. VanPaemel; and her sister Ann Harrell. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura V. Scarborough of Elkhart, IN, Lisa DelPrete (Vincent) of Granger, IN, Vanessa Jondle (Brian) of Osceola, IN, Dana Jeanne VanPaemel (Scott J. Parrish) of Osceola, IN and Tracy Lynn Bacon; her friend Mary Ann VanPaemel; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Leeper (Nate), Nino DelPrete, Angelo DelPrete (Alison), Paolo DelPrete, Mateo DelPrete, Jenaro DelPrete, Dominic Oletti (Maddie), Lucas Oletti, Ben Jondle and Brianna "Annie" Jondle (Aaron Hammer); and her great grandchildren, Blakely, Luca and Booker.
