She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Hickman and Marcia Hickman; her stepdaughter Nina Avalino; and her stepgrandson Malachi Hines. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Amber McCarty (Steve) of Elkhart and Terry J. Hines of Elkhart; and her siblings, Shelia Wagner of Elkhart, Betty Strong of Elkhart and Jimmie Hickman of Elkhart. She is also survived by 13 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandson.
