He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Ronald Dean Bourn. He is survived by: his parents, Cleo Betts and Kae Betts; his children, Scott Breitling of Glendale, AZ and Emily Breitling of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Alexander and Ivy Breitling; and his sister Bonnie Bourn.
