He is survived by: his children, Joshua Strickland, Jill Smith (Kory) and Lee "Eddie" Carpenter; his grandchildren, Brooke, Lyndsay Strickland, Jayson, Lilly Smith, Justin, Coty and Tori Carpenter; and his siblings, Kenny Strickland (Patty) and Lynne Kelley (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
