He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dickson and Martha Emmons; and his brother William Dickson. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Custer; his children, Steven Dickson (Diana) and Andrea McGaw (Antwan); his grandchildren, Dylan Dickson, Andrew Whitmer and Ava Whitmer; and his siblings, Donna Metz, Lynn Dickson (Michael), James Dickson and Patricia Dickson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
