Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sue Pirtle of Elkhart, Indiana, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 30, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband William Roy Pirtle; her grandson Cole Burkhardt; and her daughter-in-law Darlene Pirtle. She is survived by: her children, Rick Pirtle (Darlene), Diane Burkhardt (Randy) and David Pirtle (Tonda); her grandchildren, Kristin Burkhardt, Ashlee Townsend (Joseph), Jordan Pirtle (Katie) and Austin Pirtle (Jenn); her great grandchildren, Maverick, Finlee, Letti, Cole, Tylar, Aila, Blaire and Mara; her sister Maxine Rust; her sisters-in-law, Joyce and Sueby; her nephew Danny; and her niece O'netta Alber (Jim). She is also survived by her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
