He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kupferschmid and Louise Kupferschmid (Alt); and his siblings, Ruth, David, Robert, Paul, Lois, Josephine, Katherine, Mary Ann and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Walter; his daughter Amy Pepper (Dale) of Plymouth, IN; his grandchildren, Christian Pepper and Faith Will (Daniel); his son Eric Kupferschmid (Debbie) of Osceola, IN; his grandchildren, Megan Ramirez, Sarah Hostetler (Aaron), Ryan Kupferschmid (Carissa) and Hannah Kupferschmid; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Liam Ramirez, Evelyn, Peter, Nora Hostetler, Silas, Tobias, Lemuel, Beniah and Baby Kupferschmid.
