He is survived by: his fiancé Tonantzin Avila; his children, Walter Esparza-Hernandez, Jozalynn Esparza-Hernandez, Aidan Esparza and Anthony Esparza; his stepdaughters, Allison Avila and Emily Avila; his parents, Moises Esparza Banuelos and Socorro Martinez Banuelos; and his brother Moises Esparza.
