We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 81, Judith L. Currens of Ellettsville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Judith had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Judith may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Holmes (Hamilton) and Bernice Mason; and her brother Charles Holmes, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Maurice Lockhart Jr. (Leslie), Maureen Bever (Daniel), Jason Lockhart (Dana) and Jon Casey Curran; her brother David Holmes (Susan); and her daughter Kristina Roby. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
