It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene J. Allen of Ellettsville, Indiana, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Deckard and Erma Deckard (Adams); and her husband Blaine O. Allen. She is survived by: her children, Dena Ward (Joe) and Randy Allen (Jenifer); her brother Joe Dean Deckard; her grandchildren, CJ Ward (Jennifer), April M. Harden (Brett) and Heather R. Burks (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Caitlynn Burks, Paisley Ward, Oliver Harden, Dawson Walls, Marilyn Burks, Cooper Burks, Emery Harden, Scarlett Ward, Chloe Richardson and Quinn Richardson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
