He was predeceased by: his parents, Estele Short and Clara Short (Meeks); his wife Jackie Short; and his sister Deborah Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Jason Short (Shawna), Steven Short (Crystal) and Stephanie Hacker (Randy); his stepchildren, Marty Cain (Missy), Michelle Cain, Tracey Forrest (Bryan) and Patrick Wilson; and his sister Karen Arthur. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
