He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Parker and Mary Ellen Holstine (Wilson); and his siblings, Doris Andis, Ray "Bud" Holstine, Ralph Holstine and Parker "Leroy" Holstine.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Elaine Holstine McVay of Morgantown, W. Va and Brian Holstine of St. Paul, Minn.; his grandchildren, Carson McVay (Mara), Emilia Holstine and Olivia Holstine; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Keira McVay. He is also survived by his extended family, including 11 nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers, in-laws, and a great many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meng Funeral Home (616 E Elnora St, Odon, IN 47562). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
