He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Dockery and Elaine Dockery (Holt); and his children-in-law, Michelle Dockery and John Hall. He is survived by: his wife Janis K. Wanzer of Elwood; his children, J. D. Dockery (Becky) of Tipton, Brian Dockery of Elwood, Russell Dockery (Penny) of Kokomo, Andy Dockery (Crystal) of Alexandria and Carrie Hall of Hudsonville, IL; his siblings, Arthur Dockery of Michigan and Lois Dockery of Michigan; and his brother-in-law Steve Wanzer (Cindy) of New York.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Copher - Fesler - May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Combat Vet's Motorcycle Association or the Harmony House Mission through the funeral home.
