He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Shuler and Florence Shuler (Huff); and his sisters, Geneva "Neve" Witt, Sheila Eldridge, Betty (Tex Eldridge) and Juliette "Judy" Gill.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shuler of Elwood; his daughters, Sarah Hobbs (David) of Elwood and Stacey Shuler of Elwood; his siblings, Ricky Shuler (Vanda) of Elwood, Christina "Tina" Loy of Anderson, Ester "Curly" Shuler of Kentucky and Lester "Mo" Shuler of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Josephihe "Logan" Shuler, Jayden Brewer, David Hobbs, II (Sydney Wilson), Charcin Hobbs (Patrick Thomson) and Emery Hobbs; his great grandchild Levi Hobbs; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Lilly (Becky), Charles Eldridge and Rick Gill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
