He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Daugherty and Vera Jean Daugherty (Yocom); his former wife Colleen Trentman (Shepard); and his grandparents, William, Elsie Daugherty, Mason and Pearl Yocom.
He is survived by: his daughters, Aleshcha DeWitt (Chuck) of Plymouth and Stacey Hofer (Greg) of Elwood; his brother Mark Daugherty (Chisato) of Gnaw Bone; his grandchildren, Philip Morris, Rebeca Flannery (Tim), Noah Hofer, Meghan Sheahan (Ty), Abigale Foy (Stephen) and Nicholas Hofer; and his great grandchildren, Laila Flannery and Abraham Foy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Elwood Health & Living Activity Fund.
