It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Collis of Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Kennedy and Myrtle H. Kennedy (Tallent); her grandson Micheal Collis II; and her son-in-law David Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her children, Mike Collis (Roxanna) of Red Lion, PA, Mark Collis (Lisa) of Fishers, IN, Bill Collis of Tipton, IN, Rich Collis (Karen) of Carmel, IN and Stephanie Sanders of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Sarah Samuelson (Brad), Noelle DeVito (Andy), Caleb Collis (Dianne), Lucas Collis (Caitlin), Eli Collis (Emily), Amanda Floyd (Justin), Jacob Collis (Andrea), Kyle Collis (Jessie), Austin Collis (Bunny), Elise Collis (Ryan), Brittany Drummond (Adam) and Chelsea Raupfer (Ben); her sisters, Alta Metzger, Margie Briles and Susan Bogard (Darrell); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Green, MaryLou Rodriguez (Paul) and Kay Mevzick (Dick). She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Copher - Fesler - May Funeral Home (415 S Anderson St, Elwood, IN 46036). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Riley Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
