With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy Ratts of Eminence, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy left this world on March 1, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Vaughan and Nola Vaughan (Neier); and her sister Janet Milhon. She is survived by: her husband Edwin L. Ratts; her daughters, Nancy Shoffner (John) and Julie Brock (Greg); her sister Jean Krahn; and her grandchildren, Steve Shoffner (Andrea), Laura Simkins (James), Tyler Shoffner (Breanna), Kate Murray (David) and Casey Brock (Adrienne). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Tabor Christian Church (8787 IN-42, Monrovia, IN 46157). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Nancy to A&A Townships Fire Department, P.O. Box 225, Eminence, Indiana, or Mt. Tabor Christian Church.
