It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer S. Mullet of Etna Green, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven B. Mullet and Barbara Mullet (Chupp); his grandson Anthony Wayne Mullet; his brothers, Merlin Mullet and Allen S. Mullet; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Mullet, Rosemary Mullet and Camy Mullet.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Mullet of Nappanee; his children, Merlin Mullet (Mary Lou) of Nappanee, Lamar Mullet (Carla) of Etna Green, Omer Lee Mullet (Karen) of Leesburg, Vernon Mullet (Rosetta) of Etna Green, John Earl Mullet (Suzetta) of Etna Green, Laura Jean Hochstetler (David) of Nappanee, Linda Mullet of Nappanee and Norma Slabaugh (Jason) of Syracuse; his siblings, Paul Mullet of Leesburg, Steven S. Mullet of Elkhart, Ferne Mullet of Bremen, Carol Mullet of Bremen, Sue Yoder (John) of Nappanee and Rosemary Mullet of Bremen; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Mullet of Etna Green. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Duane Miller Residence (6697 W 800 N, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
