He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Waninger and Leona Waninger (Haug); his brothers, Ralph and Louis Waninger; his brothers-in-law, Joe Otto and Lonnie Survance; and his niece Cindy Dezember.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Otto of Birdseye, Virginia Witte of Jasper, Patty Kluemper (Eugene) of Paoli, Betty Survance of Loogootee, Laura Meunier (Mike) of Evanston, Barbara Waninger of Evanston, Mary Lou Rothgerber (Dave) of Evanston, Jerome Waninger (Sherie) of Evanston, Tom Waninger of Evanston and Mike Waninger of Evanston. He is also survived by 11 nieces, 7 nephews, 15 great-nieces, and 21 great-nephews.
