She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Mary (Gass) and Frederick Henry Fortman; her grandson Ira Altmeyer; and her siblings, Leo, Paul, Fred, James, William Fortman, Virginia Pentecost and Susan Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Emil Altmeyer; her children, Michael Altmeyer (Kim), Mark Altmeyer and Catherine Lindstrom (Edward); and her siblings, Richard Fortman, Bernard Fortman, Mary Fortman and Cecilia Fortman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
