She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burke Marsch and Myrtle Abb Marsch (Chappell); and her siblings, Rudell Simmons, Lani-Ann Schmidt, Janet Marsch, Juanita Powell, Leota Ray, Doris Harris and Eugene "Franklin" Marsch.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Victor Ellison, Sr.; her children, Joseph Victor Ellison, Jr. and Victoria Lynn Ausland (Travis); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Ellison, Natalie Ellison, Ryan Ausland, Sean Jacob Ausland and Emma Ausland; and her siblings, Barbara Vandever and Mitch Marsch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
