He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Groves Jr. and Eleanor Groves (Wright); his brothers, William and Stephen Groves; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Eickhoff and Charles Eickhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Groves (Eickhoff); his daughter Beth; his daughter-in-law Margaret Giesel; his brothers, Bob Groves, Tom Groves (Kathy) and John Groves (Deb); and his brother-in-law Keith Eickhoff (Anita).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (613 Cherry St, Evansville, IN 47713).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary and John Parish, 613 Cherry Street, Evansville, IN 47713.
