Albert C. Arendt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Albert C. Arendt (Evansville, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Bertha Mae Arendt (Frease); his wife Gloria Metz Arendt; and his son Jon Arendt. He is survived by: his son James Arendt (Theresa Hart) of Darmstadt; his grandchildren, Taryn, Alex and Sydney Arendt; and his siblings, Paul Arendt (Neva Merkley), Bill Arendt (Tom Smith) and Mary Deutsch (Warren). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel (6300 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery (1401 W Boonville - New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN 47725).
